Colorado Hiking Trip

5 Sep

A few weeks ago I went with some college friends to Denver Colorado to hike and visit for the weekend.  This photo is from a ridge between two of the three peaks we climbed that day.  The picture below is the route we took climbing Mt. Democrat first, then making our way to Mt. Cameron and finally to the top of Mt. Lincoln, which is 14,286 feet high.  In all it took us 6 hours to hike from start to finish and we burnt 3,000 calories.  This year we also climbed Bergen Peak, and last year we climbed Grays and Torreys Peaks as well as Bear Peak.  I highly recommend checking out Denver and the surrounding areas if you have a chance.  The hiking is great exercise and the views can’t be beat!
