Healthier Superbowl Snack Ideas

This Sunday the Superbowl parties will be overflowing with various foods and snacks that are very fatty and packed with ‘bad’ calories… Choose to bring a healthier, and  still tasty, option to your party.  Here are a few ideas:

1.) Popcorn (can be healthy when it is not drowned in butter and salt…)

2.) Fresh Homemade Salsa with Pita Chips

3.) Fruit Kebabs

4.) Veggies & Humus or Yogurt Dip

5.) Greek Salad Skewers

6.) Veggie Salad (a pasta salad, sans pasta)

7.) Stuffed Mushrooms & Peppers

8.) Flavored Nuts

I found a few great recipes from FitSugar under the Healthy Living  tab.  Another site that had a few different recipes is YumSugar.
